Signs have gone up in a vacant shop in Carr Street for a new American sweets and vapes shop.
Kingdom of American Sweets and Vapes will open in 46 Carr Street soon, as signs and outer painting has gone up.
Last month, it was announced that Sanaullah Niazai was going to take over the premises to open an American candy store.
The shop is set to open in the former House Group's Company headquarters.
Rachael Jackson of Penn Commercial said: "We wish Mr Niazai every success with his new American Sweets store.
"With the recent letting of the next door unit 44 to charity Emmaus, this end of Carr Street is benefitting from enhanced interest and investment, which is good news for the town as a whole."
There is hope that the new shop could open before Christmas.
It joins two other recently opened American sweet shops in the town centre, including one in Upper Orwell Street and another just down the street in Carr Street.
