From musicals such as Grease and Come from Away to horrors such as Woman in Black, there are several West End and Broadway shows heading to Ipswich in 2024.
All these shows still have tickets on sale, but be quick as they are selling fast.
1. Jesus Christ Superstar
When: Monday, January 15 to Saturday, January 20
Originally staged by London’s Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, this reimagined production won the 2017 Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival.
With music and lyrics by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, Jesus Christ Superstar follows the extraordinary series of events during the final weeks of the life of Jesus Christ, as seen through the eyes of Judas.
The score includes musical hits ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him,' ‘Gethsemane’ and ‘Superstar’.
2. The Woman in Black
When: Monday, March 4 to Saturday, March 9
Direct from London's West End, Jesus Christ Superstar is heading on tour after an incredible 33-year run at the Fortune Theatre.
Obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over him and his family by the spectre of a Woman in Black, main character Arthur Kipps engages a sceptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul.
Only suitable for those aged 11 and older, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

3. Grease
When: Tuesday, May 21 to Saturday, May 25
With hit songs 'Summer Lovin,' 'Hopelessly Devoted' and 'We Go Together' and choreography from Arlene Phillips, Grease follows the romance of leather-clad greaser Danny and girl-next-door Sandy as their relationship struggles through the trials and tribulations of teenage life.
The West End stage show has featured stars such as Peter Andre and Jason Donovan, but the tour cast is yet to be announced.
4. Come from Away
When: Tuesday, July 2 to Saturday, July 6
Winner of Best New Musical across the globe, Come from Away tells the real-life story of the 7,000 air passengers from all over the world who were grounded in Canada during the wake of 9/11, and the small Newfoundland community that invited those displaced into their lives.
The shows are part of the musical's first-ever tour of the UK and Ireland and come direct from the West End where it celebrated over 1,000 performances.
5. Only Fools and Horses
When: Tuesday, January 7 to Saturday, January 11 2025
While this show is coming to the Ipswich Regent in early 2025, tickets are selling quickly and will most likely sell out soon.
The smash hit show Only Fools and Horses The Musical - direct from a record-breaking four-year sold-out run-in London’s West End - will feature beloved characters Del Boy, Rodney, Grandad, Cassandra, Raquel, Boycie, Marlene, Trigger, Denzil and Mickey Pearce.
The show has musical contributions from the iconic Chas & Dave, the beloved theme tune as never heard before, and an array of brand-new songs full of character and cockney charm.
