Ipswich Town will be facing off against Huddersfield this weekend in the final showdown of their season-long battle to win promotion.

Here are five of the best pubs to watch the massive game on Saturday.

Isaacs has been a favourite of Ipswich Town fans for over a decade.

The quayside pub has become the heart of some of the club's most memorable celebrations.

Last year, after Ipswich gained promotion into the championship, Kieran McKenna was spotted at the pub celebrating with fans.

The pub has confirmed they will be opening early for the match with service starting at 9am.

The Briarbank Brewing Company will be open from 10am on Saturday.

The pub won gold and silver awards in the SIBA East Independent Beer Awards and will also be holding it's Spring Beer Festival this week.

Briarbank's manager, Rob Pyke, said: "We're really excited for the match. We're expecting our Spring Beer options to be flowing all day long. And I've got a good feeling about the game!"

The Plough will also be kicking things off early with doors opening for the game at 10am.

Michelle Bird, the manager at The Plough said she's "really excited" for the match.

Mrs Bird reminisced about the football club and remembered "serving beers here last time we got promoted into the premier league".

She described the pub as a self-professed "Ipswich town pub" and said it  will be bustling on Saturday.

Cock and Pye

The Cock and Pye will be open for a whopping 16 hours on Saturday.

At 9pm there will be a DJ performing at the pub.

"Hopefully we'll celebrate the club's massive promotion" said one of the staff members.

The Cock and Pye have confirmed to us they will be showing the match.

The Halberd Inn will be open at the usual times for Ipswich Town's big time.

The manager said he has not booked any live music for Saturday as the game brings all the atmosphere you can get.

The pub will be serving a variety of pub favourites along with its brand-new Triple Stack burger.

The pub is often busy for Ipswich Town games but has a light atmosphere.
