There are two hour delays on the A14 after the road was closed near Felixstowe following a crash.
The closure comes after a lorry overturned on the Dock Spur roundabout in Felixstowe this morning.
At about 3.15pm on Friday, National Highways said the eastbound carriageway between junctions 59 for Trimley St Martin and 60 for Felixstowe was shut due to the incident.
The conditions of the driver are not known at this time.
A diversion route has been put in place, National Highways added.
In an update from National Highways at about 4.50pm, the delays were confirmed to be two hours long.
Recovery crews are at the scene and currently righting the overturned lorry.
Highways teams are also repairing damaged structures.
A Suffolk police spokesman said the vehicle had been removed and the road was expecting to be reopened at about 5.30pm.
The AA Traffic Map is showing heavy traffic as far back as the Orwell Bridge.
