With many fireworks displays being cancelled last year because of a result of the pandemic there are plenty of choices to chose from this year. 

Here are six confirmed displays that are taking place this year:

Trinity Park 

The Ipswich fireworks festival is coming back with a bang as organisers say the event will be "even bigger" than last year

The fireworks display will be held at Trinity Park on Saturday, November 6 after a successful first year.

Last year, the pandemic forced spectators to watch the display from their cars. 

This year people will be able to stand together to watch the fireworks, as well as live entertainment on the stage.

Christchurch Park

Christchurch Park Fireworks show will be returning this year after being cancelled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic

The fireworks display, which has been organised by the 11th Ipswich Scout group for the previous 50 years, will be held on Saturday, November 6 at Christchurch park this year. 

There will also be a fairground, children's funfair, catering stalls, bar, traditional bonfire and three live music stages featuring The Sheringham Shantymen, Funky Voices, Adam Thomas and Chelsea Francis.

When: Saturday, November 6 

Cost: Tickets can be purchased online and cost £7 per child and £9 for an adult. 


Woodbridge

Organisers have promised a "spectacular" fireworks display at Kingfishers at Cretingham Country Park to celebrate bonfire night. 

There will also be a bonfire, food, drink and live music from the Zillionaires at 5pm and after the display. 

Free parking will also be available at the event. 

When: Saturday, November 5 4.30pm 

Where: Kingfishers at Cretingham Country Park

Cost: £8 under fives go free


Heveningham Hall Fireworks Spectacular

Heveningham Hall is combining a giant bonfire and firework display with an evening of live music headlined by chart-topping band Razorlight.

Indie rockers Razorlight, who topped the charts in 2006 with their single America will headline, alongside Freddie and the Freeloaders plus Norwich-based band Little Red Kings.

There will also be a funfair to entertain visitors, both young and old, and there will also be plenty of food and drink on offer to make the evening extra special.

Gates will open at 4.30pm and fireworks will start at around 7.30pm.

When: Saturday, November 6

Cost: Vehicle tickets are priced at £35 in advance or £40 on the gate, while pedestrian tickets are priced at £15 per adult and £5 per child (ages 4-14). Tickets are available online


Museum of East Anglia 

The Museum of East Anglia will be holding a fireworks display in Stowmarket to celebrate Bonfire Night.

Gates open at 6pm with the bonfire being lit at 7pm. There will be food and refreshments available to buy throughout the evening.

Cost: Adult £6 child £4


Nayland Bonfire and Fireworks

The community council, which organises the fireworks, promise this years display will be "bigger and brighter" than in previous years.

Alongside the traditional fireworks display there will also be barbequed hot dogs, soft drinks and mulled wine. 

Where: Nayland village hall and playing field

When: Friday, November 5 - 6.15pm

Cost:  Adult £6 child £2 and can be purchased online
